Summit Brands has become the victim of Identity Theft. Someone is distributing fraudulent checks with our company name and information on them. If you have received a “Summit Brands” check along with a letter referencing a Homeowner Improvement Grant, please understand this is a SCAM and the check you’ve received is COUNTERFEIT.We ask that you report this activity to your local law enforcement. We also request that you mail the check, letter, and envelope to us at the address below so we can give it to the authorities for use in their investigation. Your help and cooperation is very much appreciated. We will reward each person who sends these items to us with some high-value coupons for our quality products.
Please Note that our bank is not honoring any of these checks. If you deposit or try to cash one of these checks your bank will likely treat it as a returned item and may charge you fees. We hope this notification prevents this from happening to any other innocent victims of this unfortunate scam.
